This is the first ragam that people who learn carnatic music get exposed to , the sarali swaralu
( స రి గ మా ప ధా ని స ) are based on this ragam.
The reason for such a hurried post is because I was hearing to Yamaho ni yama yama from JVAS which is based on this ragam.
Illayaraja
1. Yamaho ni yama (Jagadeka Veerudi Atiloka Sundara / Veturi / SPB and Janaki)
2. Muddutho sringara beetu (Dharmaskhsetram / Veturi / SPB and Janaki)
Again use of this ragam for such a mass number - only raja can do
3. Jinjinaka Jinkara (Surya IPS / Veturi / SPB and Chitra)
4. Pavuraniki Panjaraniki (Chanti / veturi / SPB)
